New Diabetes Drug

I am presently at the Canadian Diabetes Association professional conference…an exciting presentation on an up and coming new medication…It helps to increase how much insulin our bodies make, WITHOUT the side effect of low blood sugar. Another great benefit, is unlike injected insulin, it doesn’t make you hungry and eat more…it may even help some people with diabetes lose weight!

Out of Sight, Out of Mind

To be successful in reducing tempting foods…This starts at the grocery store and means not putting these “danger” foods in your cart…I had a photoshoot for my book…I brought home some foods from the “unhealthy” shopping cart… we ended up eating a whole bunch of “junk”…and feeling sick as a result…Today is a new day…Your home is your sanctuary and you need to keep it healthy. It does pay off.
